Drug Facts — Active ingredient: Isopropyl alcohol 70% v/v (antiseptic). Inactive ingredient: water. Uses: for preparation of the skin prior to injection; first aid antiseptic to help prevent infection in minor cuts, scrapes and burns.
Thick medium pads, individually wrapped and sterile in an unopened, undamaged package. Single use only. Not made with natural rubber latex.
Warnings: for external use only. Flammable — keep away from fire or flame. Do not use with electrocautery procedures or longer than one week unless directed by a physician. Avoid eyes and do not apply over large areas of the body. Keep out of reach of children.
Laboratory use: swabbing vial stoppers before withdrawal, wiping down work surfaces, and general aseptic technique. Directions: apply as needed and discard after single use.
Handling & reconstitution
No reconstitution required. Swab the vial stopper with a pad and allow it to dry before piercing with a sterile syringe.
